Chef Daniel Jarrett has 18 years of experience in excellent commercial kitchens and has won a host of awards. Classically-trained, Daniel’s finesse in the kitchen has seen him receive a number of awards including one chef’s hat for The Tamarind restaurant in 2018.

Jarrett was introduced to Asian cooking when he joined The Tamarind, but he quickly and intuitively took to it – and he has, astoundingly, been self-taught since then. His natural skill and flair for Asian cuisine have seen him win numerous awards, and he has made The Tamarind restaurant one of the most recognised kitchens on the Sunshine Coast.
