“The Curated Plate delivers Montville Coffee access to foodies and experienced based enthusiasts from across the region, state, and country. It’s beyond strengthening our reach, and simply building our reputation, as we benefit from the energy of collaboration and being part of something bigger than just ourselves.”

Sean McGowan
General Manager, Montville Coffee

“It was a fantastic event that saw us with SOLD OUT tours on most days. Generated lots of website traffic and social media follows. Diversified our catering offerings which is now being carried into future tours.”

Simon Thornally
Director, Saltwater EcoTours

“The positive results were thanks to our partnership with our local food producers, our venues including farms, breweries and boats, our tourism operators and the Food & Agribusiness Network, Visit Sunshine Coast and Tourism and Events Queensland.

Winter is always a great time of year for the event to attract visitors and keep our tourism operators busy in the low season. Hosting an annual food celebration gives our region the opportunity to shine a spotlight on the wide range of quality food and beverages produced on the Sunshine Coast to a national audience, amidst the setting of our unique coastal and hinterland locations.”

Mayor Mark Jamieson
Sunshine Coast Council

“We loved profiling events that brought the community together to celebrate our abundant food, agribusiness and drinks scene with world-class chefs and creators. The Curated Plate has all the ingredients to become a key annual event – fabulous food, delicious drinks and stunning locations!

Our own sell-out events and the tantalising array of well-supported dinners, lunches, tours and tastings proves there is a hearty appetite for events that showcase local flavours. Congratulations to the event partners and the vision of the Sunshine Coast Council to dish up what was needed and deliver a delicious celebration of what makes this region great. We look forward to seeing this event grow.”
