Hayden Quinn - Cook Ambassador of The Curated Plate for 2024
We were excited to welcome surfer, writer, marine biologist, host of Taste of Australia and lover of all thing’s food, Hayden Quinn!
His easy-going nature and enthusiasm for travel, the ocean, people and great food, make him one of Australia’s best-loved media personalities and we can’t wait to hear what he has to say as the host of Chefs in Conversation.
Hayden will also be showcasing his cooking skills with a live demonstration at Queensland’s Sunshine Pantry live at The Station with local celebrity chef Peter Kuruvita and other well-known local producers.
In 2011 Hayden launched into the cooking world with his appearance on Master Chef Australia Season 3 and became a regular on Australian TV with his own program Taste of Australia. His success has only grown since then.
Shows such as Surfing the Menu – Next Generation and Hayden Quinn South Africa (filmed for South African TV) have brought international success, reaching audiences as far and wide as China, South- East Asia, Taiwan and the Middle East.
He is a writer/contributor for delicious magazine, plus taste.com.au and is author of cookbook Dish It Up, eBooks Hayden Cooks with Friends and Hayden Cooks Summer, and co-author of Surfing the Menu – Next Generation.

Aninspiring panel discussion hosted by Celebrity Cook Hayden Quinn (Taste of Australia & MasterChef) who will uncover the secrets behind four of the Sunshine Coast's most talented chefs Peter Kuruvita (former Head Chef Alba), Tom Hitchcock (Head Chef of Spirit House) and Cameron Mathews (Head Chef of Mapleton Pub) and Stacey Conner (Head Chef / Owner of Humble on Duke).
After the panel discussion, guests will have the opportunity to meet and greet Hayden, Peter, Cameron, Stacey and Tom.
Ticket price of $59 includes panel discussion, a welcome drink on arrival and a selection of locally produce canapes after the panel discussion.
