Michael healy MP

It is my pleasure to welcome you to The Curated Plate which highlights the personality and uniqueness of the Sunshine Coast.

The Curated Plate is supported by the Queensland Government through Round 26 of Tourism and Events Queensland’s Queensland Destination Events Program, which strives to highlight the vital link between the wonderful events we host in our great state and the diverse destinations in which they take place.

Events such as The Curated Plate foster community pride, impart local culture with all who visit and make meaningful contributions to the local economy.

Beyond The Curated Plate, there is so much to see, do and experience around the Sunshine Coast. I encourage all visitors from far and wide to soak in all the delights of the Sunshine Coast and make the most of all the experiences unique to this special part of Queensland.

Congratulations to the organisers plus all those involved in working tirelessly to stage such a great event and for being part of the Queensland Destination Events Program.

Message from the Mayor Sunshine Coast Council, Rosanna Natoli

I’m delighted to welcome you to the Sunshine Coast’s very own premier food and drink festival, The Curated Plate, which celebrates the region’s high quality local producers, restaurants and chefs.

The Curated Plate showcases the abundance of amazing produce we grow here on our Sunshine Coast, which is both award-winning and internationally recognised.

We are home to some of the best farmers’ markets in the country and we provide much of Queensland’s highest quality fish, seafood, fruit, vegetables and poultry exports.

As locals, we’ve long known and celebrated our rich history - steeped in the diversity of our food and agricultural industry. And we are quite rightly proud of the growing success of our local producers and culinary scene. Now, we are excited to share them with you.

More than 200 businesses from across our region’s food and agribusiness sector and tourism and hospitality industries have worked hard to prepare a 10-day program that brilliantly showcases our region. There are more than 90 delicious events for you to choose from.

While you are here, I also invite you to enjoy our region’s diverse natural beauty – from the lush hinterland of rainforests and valleys to the majestic Glass House Mountains and our iconic beaches.
